[It's been just a little over half a year since Pinkie Pie joined Cheese in traveling across the country to throw parties. And frankly, it had been incredible: seeing all sorts of new places, meeting new people, throwing epic parties with her favorite co-party planner, sleeping in his arms every night, and of course visiting Pineyville every now and then for one of their friends' birthdays.

Today, though, they were in another town to help out with an upcoming Valentine's Day ball, and Pinkie Pie was on her way back to their hotel room with her arms full of local treats to sample.]

[Cheese had been thoroughly enjoying having Pinkie with him during his travels. It was one thing traveling the countryside alone, but entirely another to have someone with you to experience it with. Even though he was visiting a lot of places he'd seen before, seeing her reaction to all the new sights made it that much more worthwhile.

Back in the hotel room, Cheese can be found with his trusty notepad and a pen, tapping the end of the pen thoughtfully against his chin as he mulls over new ideas for future parties that he and Pinkie will be organizing.]

[And it was at that point that Pinkie came in, ready to save Cheese from the looming peril of workaholism.]

[Cheese pauses in his perusal of his notes, looking up with a welcoming smile.]

Well hey there! What do we have today?

Oh, LOTS! This town has a TON of treats to try out! We've got heart-shaped donuts and all kinds of cookies- ESPECIALLY these red velvet cookies with cream cheese frosting- and lots of little cake pops and lollipops aaaand I even found someone that makes Pocky~!

[Good night, that is a lot of food, how have her arms not fallen off?]

[Cheese gives a low whistle as she rattles off the list of sweets, putting his notebook aside for now.]

Hah, you think we'll be able to try everything? That sure is quite a lot of stuff you picked up!

[With a chuckle, Cheese pats an empty spot on the bed next to him.]

[Ooh, now that certainly sends shivers all over. No need to persuade her further, Pinkie grabs the bags, plops them in front of him, and then all but jumps into the empty space.]

Hm...I think those red velvet cookies are calling to me. What say you?

[He asks as he crosses one leg over the other with a thoughtful hum.]

Hee, I say we should answer that call~

[Folding her own legs in, she leans- almost flops- forward to grab the cookie box. The cookies are as thick, soft, and dark red as a slice of the actual cake, cut into heart shapes and slathered with a cost of cream cheese frosting. There are even short, sweet messages written in icing on each cookie, much like a certain heart-shaped candy.]

[He can't help but grin at the appearance of the cookies, turning his over so he can inspect the writing on the front of it. "Be Mine", his says. He doesn't wait much longer to take a bite, the sweetness of it very rich, but somehow not overpowering.]

Mmmm~ Oh man, you might not want to let me grab any more of these or else I won't have room for the rest!

Heehee, I had a feeling you'd like those the best!

[A large factor in why she chose them too. Her message definitely bears sharing though, and she holds it up for Cheese to read, a flirtatious look adding to the message: "Kiss Me".]

[Well, Pinkie won't have to wait long to see if Cheese picked up on that cue. With his partially eaten cookie in one hand, he lifts the other so his fingers can thread through the side of Pinkie's hair, tilting her head just so so he can give her a gentle kiss on the lips. She'll likely be able to taste the sweetness of the frosting still on his lips.]

[That she does, and she hums a little into the kiss, the tip of her tongue flicking out briefly as her own fingers entangle themselves in his hair.]
